The Power of Yoni

From a physiological perspective, the yoni is the erogenous zone between a woman’s legs and your Yoni is quite amazing, obviously it can create a new life and deliver it into the world and I’m sure some, if not all of you have been told once or twice after sex that your yoni felt magical and amazing!

Well ladies that’s not where it ends.

Your Yoni is a space that can hold creative, sensual, and positive energy, it’s both sacred and sexual, and when you tap into its true powers, it’s one hell of a transformation.

Let’s look at the Yoni in more detail.

The female external anatomy consists of the mons pubis, clitoris, clitoral hood, labia majora, labia minora, vaginal introitus, and perineum.

Did you know that your clitoris has 8,000 nerve endings and it has no other purpose but to induce pleasure and orgasm.

However, the spiritual perspective of the Yoni’s power goes much deeper than that.

Pleasure and desire are the sexual energies that offer us the power to transform our wounds into wisdom and pains into purpose.

What do I mean by this?

It is believed that when we uplift our sexual energy from the lower centres of our bodies through the power centres of the heart and third eye, otherwise known as kundalini rising or an awakening, we can experience higher consciousness along with one heck of an orgasm!

And let’s not forget masturbation is healthy and fulfilling. Research suggests that sexual stimulation, including through masturbation, reduces stress and tension, boosts concentration, relieves menstrual cramps, and can lead to improved sex with your partner.

Yoni also represents the life force energy of the feminine goddess Shakti from Hinduism.

Shakti is the energy of the divine feminine, the wild, alluring, and all-powerful feminine essence that was the spark of life, Shakti energy can be thought of as the energy that is behind all creations, all material, and all manifestation. Shakti is the source of love.

Almost all ancient cultures worshipped the Yoni as the place of life.

Women and the act of sex was thought to be a gateway to experience ourselves as divine beings.
